With the proliferation of online accessories sites, I was drawn in and inspired to create my own line of jewellery. I chose to work with wire because I wanted to be deeply involved in the crafting process of my own designs. I have never quite understood how mere stringing up of charms or dangling of trinkets and beads from a chain maketh a jewellery designer, and am bewildered to find people in the market labelling themselves as designers as such.

With wire, there is a danger of making the pieces look too much like keychains or bookmarks, so I took especial care to steer my designs away from that association while at the sketch board. It is for this reason that I gave my first necklace a horseshoe shape, a shape I think we seldom relate with wire keychains, not least with asymmetry.

Please do not steal, thank you. Frankly, I don't mind slight imitations, but I do not accept blatant reproductions of my pieces. Do accord me the respect that a copyright gives.
